"Solar flares are not an uncommon occurrence. On Earth, we tend to see the “muzzle flash” but coronal mass ejection (CME) can be shot off in any direction. This only gives the planet a warning window of 18 to 24 hours before the solar particles mess with our magnetic field. As such, power grids, satellites, fibre optic cables, navigation, GPS systems, radio transmitters and communication equipment are all vulnerable to solar superstorms."

*** STATUS COLOUR NOTE: If there is no change to any of the LIVE data values presently being reported, the Tempest unit will not callup the servers thus reporting OFFLINE STATUS. It is however still checking all the parameters and sensors for real time values changes since last report to servers. This is all thanks to the Tempest HUB and its software which makes the WiFi connection to your WiFi Router and Internet connection.
